Stacy Kain

Stacy has been working in the youth development field for over 11 years in various positions within the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. Currently the Program Services & Training Director, she works closely with program staff to help create spaces for youth that are safe, both physically and emotionally, assists in the implementation of intentional programming based on community needs, and oversees the program quality evaluation initiative.
Passionate about Trauma Informed Care and Social Emotional Learning, Stacy infuses those practices into her daily interactions and workshops and believes that SEL skills are vital to leadership development.
Stacy received her bachelor’s from Washington State University in Gender Studies and Psychology and obtained her master’s degree in Non-Profit Leadership from Seattle University. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Rain(bow) City Softball, a Seattle based non-profit that creates opportunities for cis/trans women, trans men and non-binary athletes where they can play the sports they love in a safe and supportive environment.
In her free time, Stacy enjoys playing softball, singing karaoke, drinking coffee, traveling, and spending time with her wife and their three fur babies.
