Joseph Seia

Joseph Seia fares from the White Center community and currently serves as Director of Youth Services at New Horizons providing direct administration to programs serving youth experiencing homelessness. He graduated from the Institute of Public Service at Seattle University and is currently enrolled in the MPA program. Prior to New Horizons, Joseph held case management and youth program management positions focused on providing culturally responsive services to youth of color, LGBTQ youth, immigrant youth and other marginalized youth involved in multiple systems. His community work includes community development for South King County, anti-racist organizing, and youth leadership development. He currently co-chairs UTOPIA Seattle, an LGBTQIA advocacy organization in South King County. He also co-chairs the Undoing Institutional Racism Collaborative, with 20 member homelessness serving organizations in King County.
