Corey Newhouse is the Founder and Principal of Public Profit. Corey is responsible for the overall design of all of Public Profit’s evaluation studies, including developing logic models or theories of change, data collection tools, and analysis and reporting plans. She loves helping mission-driven organizations use data to improve the quality of their services. She’s a data nerd and will make you one, too!

Ms. Newhouse has a wide range of experience in evaluating programs that serve children and families, including multi-site evaluations of educational and youth development programs, advocacy and communications campaigns, and collective impact initiatives. She is the co-author of two evaluation guides, Dabbling in the Data and Creative Ways to Solicit Youth Input, and has authored articles in Afterschool Today and New Directions in Evaluation.

Prior to founding Public Profit, Corey served as a Senior Policy Associate at Children Now, and as a Senior Consultant at Hatchuel Tabernik and Associates. Ms. Newhouse earned her BA degree at Columbia College, and her Master of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
