I have an undergraduate degree in Human Centered Design and engineering from UW-Seattle. Throughout my undergraduate I participated in research studies, internships with start-up or non-profits to design for and around communities that have been the most impacted by oppressive systems of society. At GOKiC I started off as an instructor but began to grow in my skill sets by beginning to utilize my UX degree to create curriculum that centers the youth, integrates youth leadership, and is fundamentally centered on discussing/creating through a critical race theory lens.
