In order for our programs to truly serve the needs of all young people, it is important to address equity, diversity, and inclusion intentionally and in a meaningful way. This work requires a deep commitment, intentionality, and stamina. As we engage in changing our practices and programs, what is often overlooked is the personal work that is required to truly create lasting changes. In this workshop, we will explore the importance of on-going personal development work and learning that is required in order to create and lead programs and organizations that are equity-driven. Participants will gain strategies for creating their own personal roadmap to deepen their equity work and commitment as leaders.
